Ceremony

Ceremonies are experiences designed to honor significant family or community events, including anniversaries, births, graduations, transitions, marriages, and death. Ceremonies are opportunities to create sacred time, encourage the expressions of feelings, and foster the practice of love. For over 25 years, Roberto Vargas has served as a ceremony leader within diverse communities and has taught others the practice of ceremony facilitation.

Roberto uses ceremonies as powerful medicine for healing and inspiration, and encourages the practice of ceremony to nurture individual growth, joyful celebration, family well-being, and community development. In all extended families there is typically someone who has the interest or talent to bring persons together to share prayer and meaningful expression. Roberto teaches these persons how to guide or facilitate ceremonies for their circles of families and friends.

While Roberto does accept limited invitations to facilitate ceremonies for special conferences, community gatherings or organization celebrations, he more often provides workshops and consultations to assist others in guiding their own family, organization, or community ceremonies. For information regarding workshops see Porvida Learning or Días de los Muertos (Days of the Dead). To explore doing your own ceremony see the article, “Facilitate Your Own Family Ceremony”;
